Each of us is sitting in front of a green screen.

We are using software called Camtwist which allows us to publish our desktop as well as our camera image in one video stream. We key out the green screen and sort of appear to be floating in from of whatever we choose to open in our browser window, be it Google Maps, photos, or video from Youtube. Both of us then broadcast the camtwist stream to ustream.tv

The “driver” broadcasts in ustream and then “cohosts” the passenger. We both appear in the live stream; However, the archived videos unfortunately do not record the cohost. We will edit them back together when we are done with the project.

To drive, the “driver” just zooms in all the way on Google Maps and scrolls in the direction of our route. At that point, we are traveling about 50 -80 mph depending on internet traffic.
